Two journalists arrested three days ago in Zimbabwe while covering a demonstration in Harare were released yesterday after paying an admission-of-guilt fine amounting to £1.35p. Ndamu Sandu of the Zimbabwe Standard and Godwin Mangudya, who formerly worked for the banned Daily News, were detained along with 17 members of the Combined Harare Residents Association who were calling for the city's political leader to be removed.
