Zero Covid case in Mysuru, Mandya

MYSURU/ MANDYA: Mysuru district scored a hat-trick by recording zero Covid cases for three days this week.

According to data released by the district on Wednesday, Mysuru reported no positive case from among the 1,102 tested samples. On Tuesday and Monday, there was no positive case from among the 969 and 1,204 tested samples, respectively.

As on Wednesday, the district has only 11 positive cases.

Meanwhile, Mandya district too reported zero Covid case on Wednesday. DHO Dr Dhananjay told TOI that no Covid cases was reported in all seven taluks. “We are happy that Mandya district does not have any active Covid case now,” Dr Dhananjay said.

So far, 1,01,222 Covid cases were reported in the district with 705 fatalities. More than 12 lakh RT-PCR tests, and over 3.5 lakh rapid tests were done to trace the coronavirus, he added.
