Zayn Malik splurges £250k on luxury house for teenage sister, her husband and baby

Zayn Malik has splashed £254,000 on buying his teenage sister a detached house.

According to reports, the luxury four-bed family home is just a few doors down from the property Zayn previously snapped up for his mum Trisha.

The generous ex-One Direction star wanted to treat his 17-year-old sister Safaa -who welcomed her first child in January with husband Martin Tiser, 18.

Zayn, 27, is currently expecting his own child with girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

A source told The Sun that new parents Safaa and Martin are overwhelmed by Zayn's kindness.

"He knew they needed their own place with a new baby but Safaa didn’t want to be too far away from her mum.

“So, buying a place in the same street was the ideal solution.

"They’ve got their independence but a support network on the doorstep if they need it," the insider told the publication.

It's been a whirlwind year for Safaa and Martin who tied the knot in September in a traditional Muslim ceremony.

Shortly after they announced they were expecting their first child, who they welcomed in January this year.

Sadly, Zayn was unable to attend Safaa's wedding but returned to the UK shortly after the birth to meet his new neice.

The Pillow Talk singer, who is currently living on the Hadid ranch in America with pregnant girlfriend Gigi, is known for his generosity towards his family.

As well as buying his mum a house, Zayn also paid her a wage when his One Direction pay cheques started rolling in so that she could quit her job as a dinner lady.

The tear-jerking moment Zayn announced to his mum he'd bought her a house was shown in One Direction movie This Is Us.

A weeping Trisha told the cameras: "We never had enough money to buy own house.

"We always lived in rented accommodation, so Zayn knew how very important it was for me to have my own place.”

Zayn found fame after starring on the seventh series of The X Factor in 2008.

He landed a place in boyband One Direction who went on to achieve huge success on both sides of the Atlantic.

Zayn left the band in March 2015 and signed a solo recording deal.
