Former One Direction star Zayn Malik's sister has posted a cryptic message after it was reported her brother has split from Gigi Hadid following an alleged altercation with the supermodel's mother.
Walihya, 22, took to social media to tell her brother he was "loved' and that "'karma comes after everyone".
She also said "the universe would serve you the revenge that you deserve".
In shocking news it was claimed yesterday that father-of-one Zayn had allegedly 'struck' Gigi's mother Yolanda during an altercation.
Shortly before the news broke Walihya put a quote on her Instagram stories that read: 'I've learned three lessons this year, to leave people where they at, accept situations for what they are and not every action needs a reaction."
She went on to post a screenshot of her brother's response to the claims, followed by a string of quotes, which included: "You can't get away with screwing people over your whole life, I don't care who you care.
"What goes around comes around. That's how it works."
Another read: "Family, we may have it all together, but together we have it all,' which she captioned: '@zayn you are so loved by us all."
While a third post referenced her family's Muslim faith saying: "Allah is going to test you with what you love most.
"Allah will test you with what you fear most, Allah will test you with what you hate most. But Allah will never put you in a situation you can't handle."
Zayn, who shares his 13-month-old daughter Khai with Gigi said in response to the claims: “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.
“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.
“In an effort to protect that space for [my daughter] I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's family who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.
“This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press."
Gigi broke her silence on the claims later in the day, with a representative for the model telling E! News : "Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time."
The Mirror has contacted Zayn and Gigi's reps for comment.
