Zayn Malik's family 'want him to return home to Bradford' amid Yolanda Hadid dispute

Zayn Malik's family have reportedly begged the singer to return home to Bradford following his dispute with Gigi Hadid's mum.

Yolanda Hadid, 57, claimed the father-of-one "struck" her during a verbal altercation at his Pennsylvania home.

After hearing the news, his mum is desperate to have him return home so she can 'protect him'.

"Zayn is having a hard time right now and his family just want him to return home to Bradford," a source said.

"For Zayn’s mum, she is having to watch her son struggle thousands of miles away and it is really difficult for her."

The insider continued to The Sun : "A mother’s instinct is to protect her child and that is all she wants for Zayn. They are hopeful he will be able to come home at some point so they can spend time with him."

Mirror have contacted Zayn's reps for comment.

The singer previously took to social media to deny that there was any "physical" altercation but admitted there were "harsh words" exchanged with Yolanda but he had hoped that the matter would be dealt with within the family.

After rumours of the incident surfaced, he took to social media to deny them.

He said: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Zayn reportedly "showed up at Gigi and Zayn's Pennsylvania home on Sept. 29 and got into a nuclear argument" with his fiancée and her mother.

Zayn allegedly "called Yolanda a f***ing Dutch s**t," and commanded her to "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter."

He also referred to his daughter as "the f***ing sperm that came out of [my] f***ing c***."

The site claims the father of one was " charged with four criminal offences of harassment", and has pleaded "guilty" on one and "no contest" on the other three.

A few hours before 'adamantly denying' striking Yolanda, Zayn also tweeted out an explanation.

He wrote: “As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.

“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.”

He then adds: “In an effort to protect that space for [my daughter] I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.
