The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. AbdulLatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, praised the preliminary rulings issued by the Specialized Criminal Court against the defendants in the murder of the late Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, describing it as an important step towards realizing and implementing justice.
The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council stressed that the rulings issued against the defendants demonstrated the independence and impartiality of the Saudi judiciary, and its keenness to implement the provisions of the law after completing the implementation of the due proceedings, it also demonstrates the commitment of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prosecute the perpetrators of this heinous crime, in a transparent manner, in accordance with the law and establishing justice, denouncing the malicious attempts to politicize the crime and interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
