Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall have dance off with Rebel Wilson on New Year's Eve in Sydney

Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall had a hilarious dance off with actress Rebel Wilson as they celebrated the New Year in Sydney last night.

The royal couple jetted Down Under to watch the spectacular fireworks display at a starry party attended by the Hollywood star.

Zara, 38, who is the Queen's granddaughter, and the former rugby player, 41, were caught on camera partying with their pals at a lavish mansion in Sydney.

The property had a stunning view of the Sydney harbour Bridge and last night's fireworks display.

Pitch Perfect star Rebel shared plenty of snaps from the bash, telling fans she rang in 2020 with a "fun gang".

In a post on Insatgram, she wrote: "We crushed Sydney New Year's Eve! We're in the future now in 2020!' Rebel wrote on her profile.

"What a fun gang to celebrate with and thanks to our gorgeous hostess Heloise for throwing an amazing bash with clearly the BEST views."

She later shared a video which showed her involved in a dance off with Mike.

Other guests at the party included polo player Nacho Figueras and TV host Carly Steel.

Professional equestrian Zara and her partner are believed to be spending the next few weeks Down Under as they are in the country for the Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival and Raceday later this month.

Zara recently admitted she is considering moving to Australia after she retires from riding competitions as she loves the country so much.

She told Australia's Women's Weekly magazine: "Probably not while I'm still competing. It would be a little bit hard commuting.

"But after that... yes, I think if an opportunity came up we'd definitely think about it."
