Zara McDermott has reportedly moved into Louis Tomlinson’s North London mansion, marking a significant step forward in their fast-developing relationship.
The former Love Island star, 28, is said to have gradually relocated to the One Direction singer’s home just months after the couple went public with their romance in June.
Tomlinson, 33, had kept his private life largely under wraps in recent years, but insiders claim his relationship with McDermott has quickly become serious.
“They’re smitten and she has been spending all of her time at his place — she’s pretty much moved in,” a source told The Sun. “Zara has even started making her social media videos from there instead of her parents’.”
McDermott’s move comes after her split from long-term boyfriend and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson late last year.
The pair dated for five years before calling time on their relationship in December. Following the break-up, McDermott returned to her family home but, with the distance between her parents’ house and Tomlinson’s property, insiders say it was only a matter of time before she based herself at his.
The couple confirmed their romance on Instagram earlier this summer when McDermott posted a picture of the pair kissing, with Tomlinson responding: “I love you.”
The moment was met with enthusiasm from both families, with Zara’s brother commenting “beautiful couple” and Louis’ sister writing “love love.”
Although believed to have started dating at the beginning of the year, they made their first official public appearance together at Glastonbury Festival in June.
Footage shared on TikTok showed the couple embracing while watching a performance, with Tomlinson’s arms wrapped around McDermott.
According to friends, the pair spent much of the summer travelling before returning to the UK, where McDermott began using Tomlinson’s home as her base.
Insiders had now suggested those close to them see the relationship as “serious,” with the move into his mansion considered a clear sign of commitment.
For McDermott, it marks a fresh chapter following a turbulent year in her personal life, while for Tomlinson it is one of his most public relationships to date.
