Zara Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary With a 50 Model-Strong Video and a New Collection

It's hard to believe that Zara is turning the big 5-0. Arguably the crown jewel of fast fashion, it started its journey way back on May 9, 1975. The retailer is pulling out all the stops for its anniversary by bringing 50 models together for a sure-to-be-legendary video shot by the one-and-only Steven Meisel. As if that wasn't enough, Zara also just dropped an anniversary collection.

Alek Wek, Amber Valletta, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Imaan Hammam, Joan Smalls, Linda Evangelista, Precious Lee, Twiggy and Naomi Campbell are just a few names participating in this epic ensemble. There are even T-shirts and a poster to commemorate the occasion. The rest of the new offering is all black or white, inspired by the classic tuxedo. Prices range from $26 to $459.
