Zara and Mike Tindall put on loved-up display in rare snap amid royal drama

Mike and Zara Tindall looked happy in love as they took part in a charity golfing event.

The former rugby star and Zara leaned on each other as they smiled for the camera at the Belfry resort near Sutton Coldfield, West Mids.

He hosted his 10th annual charity event in aid of Cure Parkinson's as well as the Matt Hampson Foundation.

The royal couple's event had the likes of Ronan Keating, James Nesbitt and Denise Van Outen attending.

Mike and his golfing Instagram page shared a snap of him and Zara posing up a storm for the camera.

"The amount of begging Mike had to do for Zara to have a photo with him was off the chart," the caption read.

The couple almost matched as Mike rocked a patterned blue-and-white pair of shorts and a black shirt.

Zara kept warm in white trousers, a blue hoodie and a black jacket. They both wore black caps.

Fans rushed to the comment section to joke about Mike's outfit choice.

"I’m not surprised in those shorts. Love you guys!" one user said while another posted: "Not surprising in those shorts."

One fan wrote: "Probably due to his attire down below."

"She did not want to lend credence to those pants!" another amused user commented.

Meanwhile, Mike recently opened up about his boozy night out with Zara before the King's Coronation.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain about his night out with Zara when the other royals had gone to bed, he said: "It was nice to have a little date night. When you've got three children, it's not always easy to have a little bit of time together to have a drink and chat."

As Adil suggested most people would skip the night out if they knew they had a big day the next day, Mike joked back: "I always say never worry about tomorrow, just focus on the moment and you can worry about tomorrow later."

Following the dinner, sources revealed that the Tindalls continued their evening at the nearby Arts Club, before leaving at 2am, where they were photographed walking through London, taking in the sights of the capital ready for the Coronation.
