Zane Tetevano and Luke Gale in contention for Leeds Rhinos recalls against Hull FC

Zane Tetevano could be set to feature for Leeds Rhinos forst the first time since May after being named in their 21-man squad for Thursday's game with Hull FC - with Luke Gale also in line to return.

Gale is back in contention for selection having been dropped - and subsequently stripped of the captaincy - for last week's victory against Salford Red Devils. He could be joined by props Mikolaj Oledzki and Tom Holroyd, who were also named in last week's squad alongside Gale but did not feature due to injury.

However, fellow forward Tetevano is a notable inclusion in Richard Agar's group, with the prop included in a match-day squad for the first time since Leeds won at Castleford two months ago.

Tetevano tested positive for Covid-19 and has been struggling with the after effects of the virus, but he is now fit enough to return and help Leeds move ever-closer to a place in the Super League play-offs.

Liam Sutcliffe misses out after a head knock last week rules him out under concussion protocol, while Bodene Thompson also drops out due to injury.

Agar is yet to name Gale's successor as captain.

Leeds Rhinos 21-man squad : Tom Briscoe, Harry Newman, Konrad Hurrell, Ash Handley, Luke Gale, Mikolaj Oledzki, Kruise Leeming, Matt Prior, Alex Mellor, Rhyse Martin, Zane Tetevano, Brad Dwyer, Richie Myler, Cameron Smith, Tom Holroyd, King Vuniyayawa, Sam Walters, Callum McLelland, Luke Briscoe, James Donaldson, Jarrod O'Connor.
