Zander Clark delights young fans by handing over gloves after quarter-final win

St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark was in sublime form on and off the pitch on Wednesday evening.

The Saints number one made the night of two young supporters by handing over his prized pair of gloves at full-time.

Twins Archie and Alfie Murray, both eight and from Perth, were beaming from ear to ear after receiving the gift at Dens Park.

The Saints-daft kids are in primary four at St John’s Academy and thoroughly enjoyed the League Cup quarter-final tie.

Clark posted after the game: “Hope they get their voice back from shouting all second half!”

He had produced a fine performance to help Saints defeat Dundee 2-0 and book another trip to Hampden Park in November.

Shaun Rooney and Ali Crawford netted the second half goals to set-up a last four clash with Celtic.
