Zack Snyder’s fan-demanded cut of 'Justice League' will debut March 18 on HBO Max

Zack Snyder’s eagerly anticipated cut of “Justice League” will see the light of day — thanks to fan demand.

On Friday, HBO Max announced that the “Snyder Cut” of the 2017 Warner Bros. Pictures blockbuster will premiere on the streaming service as a full-length feature on March 18.

The announcement came in the form of three postapocalyptic looking teaser posters released on social media platforms.

One features a flag with a tattered “JL” logo, another shows two seemingly discarded film cans reading “Snyder,” and a third shows the “JL” logo made of stone and smashed.

Snyder, whose credits include “300,” “Watchmen” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” was forced to step away from the project following a family tragedy in March of 2017.

“Avengers” director Joss Whedon took over and substantially retooled the film, which ultimately delivered a disappointing $657.9 million worldwide.

Fan enthusiasm, and the viral hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, reportedly led the studio pony up more coins to allow Synder to recut the movie to suit his original vision.

The cast of “Justice League” includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, Ciaran Hinds and Ray Fisher, who went public with his accusations about Whedon’s “abusive” behavior on the set.

The actor’s July allegations — which also implicated former Warner Bros. co-president Jon Berg, former DC Entertainment chief Geoff Johns and DC Films President Walter Hamada — led to an investigation.

In December, WarnerMedia released a statement saying that “remedial action” had been taken but declined to provide further details when probed by further about details.
