- Reform UK reported Mr Polanski to the police, with home affairs spokesman Zia Yusuf accusing him of "inciting murder" and Nigel Farage calling for his arrest.
- Polanski told BBC Newsnight he did not pay enough attention to the T-shirt and was "horrified" by its "dangerous message," but refused to apologise to Mr Farage, stating it was a mistake.
- The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are "conducting inquiries" into the report, while work and pensions secretary Pat McFadden emphasised the duty of politicians to be careful with social media posts.
