The Philadelphia Eagles need some salary-cap flexibility, and various teams around the NFL are in search of a difference-maker at the tight end position.
Mike Silver broke the news that the Eagles had received trade calls surrounding Zach Ertz and moments ago, the NFL insider for the NFL Network reported that some big-named signal-callers from around the NFL are pushing their teams to trade for the Eagles star tight end.
Names like Russell Wilson and Seattle or Carson Wentz and the Colts come to mind, while the Patriots could use a difference-maker at the tight end position and Trevor Lawrence could be lights out as a rookie tossing passes to Ertz in 201.
Things are heating up.
