A rough 2020 came to an end on Sunday for Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz, who played in just 11 games and had one of his worst statistical seasons ever.
And his future in Philly has been a question mark ever since he spoke earlier in the season about how he wasn’t sure the “feeling is mutual” about him wanting to stay with the only team that he’s called home. It’s possible the team releases him this offseason, especially given the fact that the younger Dallas Goedert is there.
On Monday, while speaking with reporters, Ertz teared up while reflecting on his eight years in Philadelphia.

That came hours after cameras caught Ertz, Jason Kelce and Carson Wentz spending time on the field at Lincoln Financial Field after the Eagles’ loss to the Washington Football Team.
