One of the Tennessee Titans’ newest additions, inside linebacker Zach Cunningham, will make his debut with the team in Week 15 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cunningham was claimed by the Titans off waivers last week but was inactive for the Week 14 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
On Friday after practice, head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed Cunningham would suit up, although he didn’t say in what capacity the former Houston Texan would contribute. Vrabel noted Cunningham had a good week.
“It seems like he’s excited to be here,” Vrabel said of Cunningham. “I don’t want to speak for Zach but I felt like his attitude, his demeanor in meetings and on the practice field in communicating and playing football with his teammates. And obviously, the other stuff is going to take some time as far as just getting to know teammates and some of the guys he’s playing with and next to, but hopefully he can help us in some capacity on Sunday.”

With David Long set to miss his fifth-straight game, the expectation is that Jayon Brown and Rashaan Evans will start. Cunningham will likely see the field in a limited capacity, whether that be on defense, special teams, or both.
The Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers will meet on Sunday at Heinz Field, with kickoff set for noon CT.
