Zach Clough scores for Nottingham Forest U23s in win over Ipswich Town

Nottingham Forest Under-23s claimed a 3-1 win over Ipswich Town in their away clash in the Professional Development League.

Forest forward Zach Clough was included in the young Reds starting XI, and netted his side’s third goal of the game.

The first goal of the match came in the fourth minute, as Yassine En-Neyah rose highest at a corner to powerfully head Forest into the lead at Portman Road.

The Reds doubled their advantage in the 35th minute as Will Swan pounced onto Danny Preston's deflected cross to put the ball in the net.

Ipswich pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time through Idris El Mizouni after getting on the end of a pass from Will Keane and firing his effort into the bottom corner.

Forest restored their two-goal advantage through Clough in the 67th minute, who slotted his effort home at the back post to secure a 3-1 win for the Reds.
