Zach Brown cut by Eagles

Last week, we noted former Washington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown had some not-so-nice things to say about former teammate and current Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Brown then took the field after classifying Cousins as a weak link and was part of the problem. The former Redskins passer threw for 333 yards and four touchdowns in a blowout Eagles win.

Monday, the Eagles announced Brown had been cut.

There is more to the roster move than Brown’s comments about Cousins assuredly, but it’s a notable point here nonetheless.

Plenty of teams figure to have an interest in Brown, though the Redskins likely aren’t one of them given how the two sides split last time. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Brown should have a healthy market.
