Zac Taylor says Carl Lawson and Michael Jordan are game-time decisions

The Cincinnati Bengals might get some unexpected help against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.

It turns out pass rusher Carl Lawson and rookie guard Michael Jordan might end up being game-time decisions. Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed this himself, according to Tyler Dragon of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

This is notable mainly because in past years, no practice Thursday for a player meant nothing on Friday and inactive on gameday. This wasn’t the case 100 percent of the time, but it did start to feel like a hard rule.

If Lawson could end up going despite his hamstring injury, the Bengals would have an even deeper front to get after Josh Allen with.

Jordan is perhaps more interesting because the Bengals have said Billy Price will get the start in his place. That’s a big deal for the former first-round pick, so it should be interesting to see what the team does if  Jordan shows up and gets cleared to play Sunday.
