Yves Bissouma posts cryptic Twitter message amid Liverpool transfer rumours

Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma has sent a cryptic message amid reported interest from Liverpool and other Premier League clubs.

The Reds along with Arsenal and Manchester City have been linked with the Mali international in recent months, with his future at the Amex Stadium up in the air.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is said to be a huge fan of the 24-year-old, who has also been touted as a possible replacement for Gini Wijnaldum at Anfield.

Seagulls boss Graham Potter admitted earlier this week that while he expects Bissouma to report back for pre-season training, his future could change.

With Bissouma contracted at the Amex until 2023, Potter said: “Not really. He’s contracted with us

"As far as I know he’s going to report to pre-season like everyone else.

“But it’s football. Like anything, in the summer we have to make some good decisions and improve the football club.”

Now Bissouma has posted a somewhat cryptic message on Twitter, that has once again sparked rumours that he could be on the move.

The midfielder posted a picture of himself sitting on a sofa while on his phone, accompanied by a rather cryptic message.

He wrote: “Mom told me watch out they will love you a lot less when you go up my son, you will see time break some friendships.”
