TIRUPATI: The Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths questioned Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, his father YS Bhaskar Reddy and Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy in connection with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case for the second consecutive day on a trot at the agencies regional office at Hyderabad on Thursday.
A special team of CBI officers from the national capital New Delhi led by SP Vikas Singh are learnt to have questioned the trio on various aspects of the case including the money trial involved in the high profile murder case.
While Avinash Reddy arrived at the CBI office at around 9.30 am on Thursday, his questioning in the presence of his lawyer, which was also video-recorded, went on for almost 9 hours on Thursday.
On the other hand, YS Bhaskar Reddy and Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy were brought to the CBI office from the Chanchalguda central jail at around 9.30 am and their questioning went on for about six hours on Thursday.
It is learnt that CBI questioned both Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy together for the first time after the lunch hour today.
