YouTuber Logan Paul slaps man unconscious - before pulling out of championship match

YouTuber Logan Paul has found himself embroiled in controversy again after knocking a man unconscious with a heavy-hitting slap.

The social media star posted a video that showed him slapping an opponent to the ground, leaving his rival motionless on the ground.

Paul lined up a huge right hand, before unleashing a massive slap that left the man unconscious - and spectators were forced to step in to help him.

The controversial star posted the clip to his 4.8million Twitter followers, this incident coming before he pulled out of a championship event.

The one-time boxer, who fought fellow YouTuber KSI in the ring, was expected to take on champion slapper Vasiliy 'Dumpling' Kamotskiy in Russia on May 25.

He pulled out of the fight, citing an “unforeseen and unfortunate event”, but has raised curiosity with this latest slapping incident.

On announcing his withdrawal from the Kamotskiy contest, he realised a statement which said: “Due to an unforeseen and unfortunate event that took place during practice today, I have decided not to participate in the upcoming slap competition.

“Based on today's incident and the aftermath it became clear that I don't have the desire to participate in an event that can result in serious injury to virtually anyone competing.

"I have the deepest respect for the sport and athletes involved. However, I feel my decision will preserve the health and wellness of everyone competing.

"I appreciate you taking the time to include me in the process and will absolutely continue to support the sport and your organisation as a fan.

"Thank you for your understanding and mutual respect."
