YouTuber Grace Victory shares first photo of baby son after waking from coma

Grace Victory has shared the first photo of her baby boy after she woke from her coma.

The YouTuber took to her Twitter account on Wednesday morning to share an adorable black and white photo of her son's tiny feet.

It is the first glimpse she has shared of her son since Grace came out of her coma earlier this month.

Last year she caught coronavirus and was placed in an induced coma on Christmas Day, after giving birth to a baby boy, who she shares with her boyfriend Lee, the day before.

On March 8 she tweeted that she was awake, and has continued to keep her fans updated about her recovery.

That same day, she tweeted: "Baby boy is thriving at home x"

Then on Wednesday she shared the snap of her baby boy, captioning it with two white love heart emojis.

"All of your love is getting me through. Thank you x" she later tweeted.

Grace then posted: "I'm still in ICU, but I'm doing well. X"

Back in December, Grace delivered her baby two months early because she had become "too unwell to continue with the pregnancy".

Announcing his birth, Grace wrote: "We're parents. it's been a wild week but this morning baby boy arrived and is our little Christmas miracle.

"We are all doing so well and I am f****** in love."

But a later Instagram post, Grace's family confirmed that she had been put into an induced coma in order to "give her body the rest it needs".

The statement read: "Grace developed Covid-19 two weeks ago and although her symptoms were mild at first, they worsened as the days went on.

"Which meant they had to deliver the baby as soon as possible, as she was just too unwell to carry on with the pregnancy."

Grace told her fans the news on Twitter (@GraceFVictory/Twitter)

The statement went on: "Grace was admitted into intensive care on Christmas Day due to issues with her breathing & therefore they had to make the decision of placing her into an induced coma, to give her body the rest it needs, in order to recover."

"We love her so, so much and we know she’ll come out of this stronger than ever.

"She has dedicated her whole career to healing people, we now ask that you pray, to heal her," the statement said.
