YouTuber Grace Victory leaves ICU after awaking from coma following Covid battle

YouTube star Grace Victory, 30, has confirmed she has left intensive care after a horrific Covid battle left her with a 5% chance of survival.

She tweeted: "The medical staff gave me a 5% chance of surviving Covid but because I’m me, I’ve been discharged from the ICU. I will never ever give up."

She continued: "The entire time my family and Lee kept saying “you don’t know what she’s capable of” and the whole world sent me love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

She added: "I’m crying lol".

One fan replied: "The best news! I've never met you, but after all these years of following your story, I couldn't imagine a world without Grace Victory. The world needs you Grace! So so happy for you and your family".

Another wrote: "Wonderful news! You've got so much more left to give this world, that's for certain. x".

A third added: "Victory by name and by nature, congratulations and guidance for a full recovery".

Grace caught coronavirus in 2020 and was placed in an induced coma on Christmas Day, after giving birth to a baby boy, who she shares with her boyfriend Lee, the day before.

On March 8 she tweeted that she was awake, and has continued to keep her fans updated about her recovery.

"I’m just so in love with my soul mate and baby boy I can’t contain myself," she gushed.

That same day, she tweeted: "Baby boy is thriving at home x"

Later on in the week she shared the snap of her baby boy, captioning it with two white love heart emojis.

"All of your love is getting me through. Thank you x" she later tweeted.

Grace then posted: "I'm still in ICU, but I'm doing well. X".

Back in December, Grace delivered her baby two months early because she had become "too unwell to continue with the pregnancy".

Announcing his birth, Grace wrote: "We're parents. it's been a wild week but this morning baby boy arrived and is our little Christmas miracle.

"We are all doing so well and I am f****** in love."
