A YouTuber and his pal who travelled from London to scale the Forth Road Bridge have been fined more than £1000 each.
Owen Kelly and Usamah Quraishi climbed on to a cable before walking up it to the top, more than 500ft above the water, at 8.20pm on September 5.
Traffic was stopped and police were called but the pair escaped by clambering under the bridge before being caught on CCTV.
Quraishi, 20, has 139,000 YouTube subscribers and has been banned from various locations.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, he and Kelly, 19, admitted breach of the peace and causing alarm.
Sheriff James Macdonald branded them “the most stupid and irresponsible individuals to have darkened the doors of this court”.
