YouTube star KSI backs brother Deji to “beat the f***” out of Floyd Mayweather

KSI wants his brother Deji to "beat the f***" out of Floyd Mayweather as the pair look set to do battle in an exhibition fight.

Deji - real name Oladeji Olatunji - has launched a career in the boxing ring which peaked last time out when he picked up his first professional victory against YouTube rival Fousey at London's O2 arena. Olatunji fought alongside his brother KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - on the undercard of his bill which saw him bounce back from three consecutive losses against Jake Paul, Vinnie Hacker and Alex Wassabi.

Mirror Fighting sources understand that Deji was identified as an opponent for boxing legend Mayweather who is currently fighting on the exhibition circuit, and the pair are now set to do battle in the ring. His brother believes that he has what it takes to put on a show after building confidence from his first win in the professional ranks.

"Deji is just a man on a mission," KSI said when assessing the potential fight on stage at the latest leg of his hugely successful music tour. "I mean we will see if it is true but if it is true then f*** me I am going. I am there. “I need to see him beat the f*** out of Mayweather! Or at least survive anyway."

Mayweather has fought in three exhibitions already to this date which include a KO win over Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, a high-profile bout with Olatunji's friend Logan Paul, and most recently a lucrative Middle East bout with former sparring partner Don Moore.

The boxing legend is already scheduled in for his latest boxing showcase against new Japanese rival Mikuru Asakura which will take place next weekend. Sources have revealed to Mirror Fighting that the latest outing against Olatunji is expected to land on November 13 at the Coca Cola Arena where he previously staged his successful meeting with Moore.

Despite his brother's confidence that he can give the undefeated legend a beating when they touch gloves, the fight will likely take place with no end result being announced in the exhibition format in a similar way to his prior eight-round bout with Paul.

The fight has not yet officially been confirmed with a full agreement not yet reach per source, but the fight appears to be drawing nearer with Mayweather set to take on another social media sensation. KSI himself could even look to follow in his brother's footsteps next year having declared his own ambition to take on Mayweather.

And his manager Mams Taylor believes Mayweather should be implored to accept these money-spinning fights as it is a win-win for both parties. "I think guys like Floyd and Conor McGregor are interested in big numbers," Taylor told Mirror Fighting at yesterday's open workout. "If the numbers are there then it makes sense. For us it's a legacy thing whereas for them it is a numbers thing."
