In a Tweet posted on Friday morning, Mr Leach revealed he had invested £100,000 in the Manchester-headquartered company.
He added that it was an "absolute bargain" and that PrettyLittleThing co-founder Umar Kamani and the wider team "are at the top of their game".
Mr Leach also said the "stock is literally 71% discounted".
The move comes after Boohoo's shares fell earlier this week after it issued a warning over its sales and profits because of supply chain disruption, surging costs and customers returning more garments.
Mr Leach has been a director of Samuel & Co Trading since 2012 and helped to establish YLDFX towards the end of 2020.
