YouTube rich kid list 2019: Meet the young influencers making millions from toys and games

Meet the kids who get paid millions of pounds literally just for playing with their toys.

From YouTubers to gamers, a whole new wave of wealthy children has emerged in the last decade as children, and their canny parents, cash in on the influencer and vlogging revolution.

And the 2019 Kids Rich List has revealed just how much the junior digital stars are making, with some millionaires aged just seven, and even a set of three year old twins worth almost £900,000.

The list research composed by online platform Childcare.co.uk looks at mini influencers from around the world, who have armies of fans tuning in just to watch them master video games, open toys or just hang about and play with their pals.

Top of the list is eight year old Ryan Kaji, who is worth an incredible £17.7m, for his Ryan Toys Review YouTube channel, which has become a must see for kids and parents - and a must deal for toy and games companies.

Insta twins Taytum and Oakley Fisher (Instagram)

Fortnite world championship winner Kyle Giersdorf, from Pennsylvania, USA, is second with his £2.6m winnings from the prestigious event earlier this year, while the youngest entrants are YouTube twins Taytum and Oakley Fisher, worth £880,000.

Richard Conway, founder of Childcare.co.uk, said: “Influencers are some of the most powerful people in modern society, and despite their young age, the children on this list prove they can make millions through their audiences.

“As a parent, I’ve seen first-hand the impact kids have today, through social media sites like YouTube, Instagram and Twitch. With most children now wanting to grow up to become online stars we wanted to see just how much money child influencers can make. Perhaps parents will look at this and see YouTuber as a viable career choice for their children.”
