Two youths have been arrested after starting a fire with paper napkins outside McDonald's in Whitefield .
A group of youngsters sat in front of the restaurant porchway setting fire to serviettes.
Police were called to the incident at around 4pm on Thursday afternoon.
Officers arrested two of the group on suspicion of going equipped and attempted arson.
A police officer told the Manchester Evening News that the antisocial behaviour is getting so bad near the restaurant - some staff are considering leaving.
A GMP spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of youths starting a fire.
"It is youngsters setting napkins on fire outside the restaurant. They were sat near the porch area."
It is thought that the area around McDonald's has seen a rise in antisocial behaviour in recent months.

Two PCSO's were recently subjected to intense verbal abuse inside the restaurant after trying to calm a group of youths causing a disturbance.

A 14-year-old girl and two teenage boys were charged in connection with a knifepoint robbery at Whitefield tram stop.
But according to figures, crime in the area is still at a relatively low level.
Policing will be going back to 'old-style' patrols to control antisocial behaviour.
McDonalds has been approached for a comment.
