Youth abducted, thrashed: Two cops suspended, says Delhi Police

NEW DELHI: Days after a youth was allegedly abducted and thrashed in Delhi's Rajouri Garden area, two police personnel were suspended "for the lapse" in the investigation, ANI quoted Delhi Police as saying on Friday.

On December 22, members of a family first abducted a man and thrashed him for eloping with and marrying their daughter.

"An FIR was also registered in the case for attempt to murder and abduction," additional DCP (West) Prashant Gautam had said on Thursday.
