Youssef Chermiti suffers injury in Rangers vs Hibs clash after mega bid

Youssef Chermiti has been stretchered off for Rangers in the first-half of their clash vs Hibs this afternoon.

The striker, 22, suffered a sore one for his side and had to come off the pitch with the help of medical professionals.

It leaves manager Derek McInnes sweating on the fitness of his frontman for the Premiership campaign ahead as well as European qualifier second leg with Jagellonia Bialystok this week.

The forward was left with head in hands as he was carted up the tunnel.

It comes following what was a mega money bid from Galatasaray for the attacker which was rejected by the club.

We reported this morning how the Turkish giants made their move for the Portuguese attacker only to be told by Gers they would not deal for the £22million on the table.

It was believed the buying club would be ready to return to negotiations - despite being discouraged to do so - but that may now have changed following Chermiti's injury.
