Youri Tielemans says his future will be sorted "in the next few weeks" as Premier League interest in the Belgian international continues to ramp up.
The 22-year-old impressed as he spent the second half of 2018-19 on loan at Leicester City.
Now the Foxes are keen to sign the £40million-rated midfielder on a permanent deal, but are facing significant competition for his signature.
Manchester United and Tottenham are both also monitoring his situation, with Tielemans desperate to leave parent club Monaco for a new, permanent home.
United chiefs are considering Tielemans with uncertainty continuing to surround Paul Pogba, while Spurs are similarly keeping tabs, aware that Christian Eriksen wants to join Real Madrid .
Tielemans is remaining coy over his future while on international duty, but has declared that progress is being made.
Speaking ahead of Belgium's Euro 2020 qualifier with Kazakhstan on Saturday, he told a press conference: “We’ll see which club it will be. The only thing I can say is that things are moving.
“A lot of clubs have shown interest and we’ll see in the next few weeks which club it will be.
“(Manchester United and Spurs) are really big teams in England and in Europe so yeah, it’s flattering to hear those names.
“For me, it’s good, it gives me confidence. I’ll just try to play my game on the pitch and to do my best.”
Tielemans enjoyed his time on loan at the King Power, and Rodgers remains keen for him to return as he the ex-Celtic boss looks to challenge the top six next term.
Tielemans added: "I was very well received in Leicester. Things went very fast, but they put me at ease right away. I felt very good on the pitch, I had good team-mates and good coaches.
"I am grateful to the club for giving me a taste of the Premier League.
"I was pleasantly surprised by the clubs that got in touch with my agent and my entourage. Given how things have been in recent weeks, I'm unlikely to go back to Monaco, and after that it will depend on negotiations.
"The loan in January was the best solution at that time. I want to be stable now, to be fixed."
