Youri Tielemans asked about future amid Manchester United transfer speculation

Leicester City star Youri Tielemans remained tight-lipped on his future amid transfer links to Manchester United.

The 21-year-old midfielder has impressed while on loan at Leicester from AS Monaco since January and there has been speculation that he could sign permanently for an English club.

The Foxes fans chanted for boss Brendan Rodgers to 'sign him up' after Tielemans scored the opening goal in their 3-0 victory over Arsenal on Sunday.

But when asked about his future Tielemans didn't give much away.

“I am feeling the love of the fans,” he told the Leicester Mercury.

“After I scored I heard them sing my name and chant ‘sign him up’ so it is fantastic to play in this atmosphere.

“I hope it will be the same in the last two games and then we will see."

Reports have claimed United want to buy Tielemans — who was linked with the Reds while an Anderlecht player back in 2017 — though Monaco reportedly value him at £40million.

The Belgian international has scored three times in 11 games for Leicester and revealed "there is no option to buy" in his loan deal from the Ligue 1 side.

Tielemans' performance against Arsenal drew praise from United fans who urged the club to sign him in the summer.

He added: “I will give the same answer, I will see at the end of the season.

“I am just enjoying every day here and we will see what happens in the summer, after these next two games.

“All I can say is I am doing my very best to play at a high level and I will keep on going until the end of the season and finish these last two games well and then we will see."
