NEW DELHI: Reeling at the bottom of the table this Indian Premier League season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took some much-needed time away from the game and were seen sharing a light-hearted banter during a question-answer session.
And leading the way was RCB great Virat Kohli, who swayed away the fun session with one of his responses that involved Dinesh Karthik's wife.
When 'presenter' Karthik asked teammate Virat to answer about his (DK) favourite sportsperson, Kohli's response had everyone including skipper Faf du Plessis in splits.
"What's my favourite sportperson other than cricketer?" asked Karthik.
"Your wife," was Kohli's witty response.
"It's a great answer, for sure. I had a different answer in my head. You caught me off-guard, completely, I swear," a floored Karthik said on Kohli's response.
Dipika Pallikal, who is one of India's top-ranked squash players, is married to Karthik. Both tied the knot in 2015 and have two boys -- Kabir and Zian.
With 6 defeats and a solitary win in 7 matches, RCB are reeling at the bottom of the table and are on the verge of an early elimination from the play-offs race this IPL season.
