Exploring Bilbao: Standing next to The Guggenheim in Bilbao I watched the mist rise out of the man-made pool. A man emerged, net in hand. What?! There are no fish here. I like this scene because the top and the bottom half of the photo don’t match, yet they’re the truth. Industrial, arty, mountainous Bilbao is displayed above but below it looks like an early morning fishing shot somewhere in the wilds. Reality and our perception of reality is often distorted.
