Your Next Binge: 3 Best Shows in Netflix's Top 10 You Need to Stream Now

The Hunting Wives.

Netflix is constantly bringing us new shows and movies, and while that's a huge boon for subscribers, it can make navigating the streaming service a tad overwhelming.

The Netflix top 10 shows list can be a useful tool to help cut through all the noise, but you can't always guarantee that what's trending is going to match your taste. That's precisely why I keep such a close eye on what's in the Netflix charts.

Each week, I comb through Netflix's top 10 list and highlight what I think are the three best shows on offer, so you've always got a new Netflix recommendation to turn to.

At present, there's still plenty to choose from, so I've decided to stick with more recent releases (though if you haven't yet managed to get around to streaming "Untamed," it's still worth streaming).

Right now, I'd stream the first part of "Wednesday" season 2, a binge-worthy mystery thriller, and a romantic drama perfect for "Virgin River" fans.

This article was recently updated and is now based on what was in the Netflix U.S. Top 10 as of Thursday, August 21.

'Sullivan's Crossing'

If you're in the mood for some cozier viewing, or to keep you entertained while waiting for "Virgin River" to return, then "Sullivan's Crossing" is probably the show for you.

The series was already a hit when Netflix got the first two seasons of this Canadian romantic drama last month, and now that "Sullivan's Crossing" season 3 has been added to the platform, fans have sent it right back into the Netflix top 10.

If you're not up to speed, "Sullivan's Crossing" is a drama (based, like "Virgin River", on novels penned by Robyn Carr) that follows neurosurgeon Maggie (Morgan Kohan) back to her quaint Canadian hometown after her life in Boston is upended. She's looking to get away from it all, reconnect with her father and former friends — and maybe even forge new connections, too.

'The Hunting Wives'

Rebecca Cutter's "The Hunting Wives" turns May Cobb's bestselling novel of the same name into a soapy, eight-episode bingeable mystery-thriller that crept up near the top of Netflix most-watched charts upon release (and has stayed there).

The series revolves around liberal mom Sophie (Brittany Snow), who falls in with a new crowd after she and the family make a big move down to Texas.

There, she falls in with "The Hunting Wives," an elite socialite crowd of housewives with secrets led by Margo Banks (Malin Akerman). And while it starts out fun, her involvement in the clique lands Sophie in hot water when she becomes a prime suspect in the death of a teenager.

'Wednesday'

Almost three years after Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams crashed onto the scene, Netflix's most-watched show of all time has returned for a more gruesome, darker second chapter... which is every bit as entertaining as the first.

"Wednesday" season 2 part 1 arrived on August 6, bringing Wednesday (and the rest of the Addams Family) back to the hallowed halls of Nevermore Academy. It's a new school year, and that means fresh faces are on the scene, and new mysteries are just waiting to be solved.

Part 1 is available to stream now, with the remaining episodes due to stream in a couple of weeks (check out the "Wednesday" season 2 release schedule to plan your viewing accordingly).
