Tory MP grabs protester as he ejects her from dinner

A Tory minister has come under fire after footage showed him physically removing an eco-activist from a high-profile dinner in London

Mark Field was filmed stopping one of the female protesters by pushing her against a column, holding her at the back of the neck and walking her out.

The foreign office minister’s reaction was met with condemnation from some MPs who saw the clip, with Heidi Allen saying he was “heavy-handed”.

The incident came as several demonstrators disrupted Philip Hammond’s high-profile speech to finance leaders at Mansion House last night.

Prince Charles meets Bond stars on set

The Prince of Wales interrupted a "confrontation scene" between Daniel Craig and Ralph Fiennes during a visit to the set of Bond 25.

He joined the actors and director Cary Fukunaga in the office of MI6 boss M at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.

Charles laughed as Fiennes, who plays M, explained they had been filming a scene in which his character gives Bond a "good dressing down".

After Charles left the room, Fukunaga turned to Craig and Fiennes, telling them: "Right, back to work. Not distracting at all!"
