It’s been quite an opening two months to the Championship season for Nottingham Forest and their new head coach Sabri Lamouchi.
The Frenchman has enjoyed quite an impact since taking over from Martin O’Neill early into the Reds’ pre-season campaign, and has his side sitting second in the Championship.
Forest have gone 10 games unbeaten in the league since that unfortunate opening night defeat to leaders West Brom – their only other defeat coming in the Carabao Cup at Premier League giants Arsenal.
Lamouchi’s men even went top of the league for a few hours when they won 3-2 at struggling Stoke City in front of the television cameras towards the end of last month.
In their fine start, there have been plenty if star performers, from Brice Samba in between the posts, to Joe Worrall and Michael Dawson in the heart of the back four, to Ben Watson in the middle of the park and Lewis Grabban up front.
