'Your legacy continues' – Bradley Welsh tribute shared by Holyrood Boxing Gym one year after death

The team at Holyrood Boxing Gym have shared a touching tribute to Bradley Welsh one year after his death.

The 48-year-old died after being shot outside his home on Edinburgh's Chester Street on 17 April last year.

And Holyrood Boxing Gym, which was owned and founded by Mr Welsh, this morning (Friday) posted to say that his "legacy continues".

In a social media message, they said: "A year has passed, feels like we talked just yesterday.

"Hearing the words 'nothing worth having comes easy' you would say.

"Times are a changing but your ethos, helping one another, your legacy continues till this day.

"Bradley son of Edinburgh we love you, we miss you dearly."

In addition to the boxing gym, Mr Welsh worked closely with a number of charities in the city - co-founding Helping Hands which aims to help disadvantaged young people.

He also appeared in the Trainspotting 2 movie, released in January 2017.
