The spring anime season may be winding down, but Netflix's calendar of new releases is only heating up. June is yet another exciting month for anime fans, with plenty of new shows coming to the platform for the first time, from licensed content to original titles.
Most of them are highly praised sequels or continuations of popular franchises, so there's plenty to add to your watchlist. While it's a few years old at this point, I'm excited that the entirety of "Assassination Classroom" is now on Netflix with season 2 being added in June. You can also catch more Straw Hat adventures in "One Piece" as well as the latest season of "Pokémon Horizons."

'Assassination Classroom' Season 2
"Assassination Classroom" is one of my all-time favorites, and at just two seasons long, it's the perfect length for a weekend binge. Season 2 raises the stakes as the students of Class 3-E return from summer vacation with their mission unchanged: assassinate Koro-sensei before graduation. But that's easier said than done when the academy's ruthless principal, Gakuhou Asano, is dead-set on crushing their chances. Meanwhile, the enormous bounty on Koro-sensei fuels rivalries among the students, and caught in the middle is Nagisa Shiota, who finds himself at the center of a growing conflict that threatens to tear the class apart.

'One Piece' Season 33
You can already watch a ton of "One Piece" episodes on Netflix (863 to be exact). On June 1, Part 6 of the Whole Cake Island Arc is set to arrive on the platform, and there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic that Parts 7 and 8 will follow soon after. If that happens, the entire Whole Cake Island Arc will finally be available to stream on Netflix. The Straw Hats are on a mission to take out one of the Four Emperors and rescue their crewmate Sanji from getting wrapped up in an arranged marriage.

'Pokémon Horizons:' Season 3—Rising Hope Part 3
Liko, Roy, and their friends and Pokémon are back in action in part three of the show's third season. As they train for the Blueberry Academy, where there are all kinds of Pokémon (and Elite Four members!) to battle, they also work to rebuild the Rising Volt Tacklers and gain new insights about the legendary Terapagos and its connection to Laquium. Along for the ride are Roy’s newly evolved Shiny Lucario, Dot, the team’s expert intel gatherer, and Ult, a newcomer who declares himself Roy’s rival.
