For many of us, the 'Do Not Disturb' function on an iPhone is incredibly useful when you need to concentrate.
The mode mutes all incoming notifications, making it much easier to avoid distractions.
Now Apple is taking this function to a new level - with a new 'out of office' style mode that warns others you're too busy to text right now.
The new mode, which is available on iOS!%, is called Focus and is designed to let people know that your attention is elsewhere.
The toggle-on setting blocks incoming notifications from messages and lets the sender know you won't receive a pop-up alert about their text.

But handily Apple offers the option to bypass this and still notify you, so in cases of emergency, you'll still be alerted swiftly.
But it blocks out all the other nonsense - meaning you are less likely to get distracted.
The new feature will be made available generally when iOS 15 is launched - which is said to be next month.
But if you're extra-keen, it's possible to download the beta version of the software and try it right away.
This is the test version of the software, however, so while you get to try out the new features ahead of the crowd, there may be a few bugs and bits that need to be ironed out.
How to get iOS 15 beta on iPhone
You can sign up on the Apple Beta page and register with your Apple ID, before logging in and enrolling your iOS device.
Once you've done this, you can download and install the configuration profile, with the beta iOS available under "Software Update".
But if you can't be bothered with that, the official update is probably going to be available in September, when a new era of iPhones are also expected to be announced.
If you're looking for something else to distract you, m any iPhone users have no clue there's a hidden pinball game they are missing out on
Arcade game lovers will want to get their hands on this little-known function hidden within the Google app which lets you play a game of pinball even while offline.
