Your half-term verdict on Leeds United's standout player, best match and second-half prediction

Leeds United signed off the first half of their first Premier League campaign for 16 years with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Tuesday night.

The victory saw Marcelo Bielsa's men move on to 26 points and consolidated 12th place in the Premier League table in what has been an encouraging start to life back in the top flight.

Results have been somewhat erratic, whether they are seven-goal thrillers or thrashing for and against, but rarely has this Leeds United side been dull.

Did Leeds United miss Klich against Newcastle?

But what have you made of Leeds' first-half of the campaign? We've been running a survey to get your take on who's impressed, what the high points have been and more.

You voted in your thousands and here is a look at the results...

A clear winner here, with Luke Ayling taking to the Premier League like a duck to water. He has not just impressed in his usual centre- back position, but also at the heart of the Leeds defence during their recent centre-back injury crisis.

Kalvin Phillips has been his usual self so far this term, with the England international's importance underlined by some of Leeds' performances when he has been out of the starting line-up.

Patrick Bamford's fast goalscoring start has also seen him pick up plenty of votes.

Behind the top three were Illan Meslier with ten per cent of the vote and Raphinha with seven per cent.

A fair few to choose from here, with your favourite matches taking place in the West Midlands. The 3-0 win at Aston Villa was a complete performance, while the 5-0 thrashing of Sam Allardyce's West Brom saw Bielsa's men at their freewheeling best.

Interestingly, a defeat makes the top four, with 14 per cent of you selected the thrilling opening weekend Anfield defeat as your favourite match so far.

A clear winner here. Deadline day signing Raphinha is looking to be a bargain at £18million and he gets the nod from almost three-quarters of you. Injuries have no doubt hampered the progress of Robin Koch and Diego Llorente so far.

Leeds' strong first-half performance means that 99 per cent of you predict another season in the Premier League next term.

Just under three-quarters see Bielsa's men maintaining their place in mid-table, with a further four per cent thinking the top eight can be cracked. Less than a quarter of you predict a slight drop-off and a finish just above the drop zone.

Finally, with Leeds' under-23s side making a strong start to life in the Premier League 2, we asked which of Mark Jackson's table toppers you want to see more of.

Joe Gelhardt, who is yet to make a first-team appearance tops the poll here, with 47 per cent wanting to see what the former Wigan man can do in the senior side.

Sam Greenwood, who was brought on in the FA Cup match earlier this month also gets a healthy share of the vote, as does defender Charlie Cresswell, who made his first-team debut in the League Cup defeat to Hull earlier in the campaign.
