A young woman has died in hospital nearly two weeks after a horror car crash in Co Carlow.
Three people, all in their 20s, were seriously injured when the car they were in left the road and collided with the corner of a house.
The incident happened on the cross road of the Rathoe Road and Castlemore Road in Tullow at around 2am on Wednesday, April 8.
All three people who were in the car at the time of the smash were taken to St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
And sadly it has emerged that a woman in her 20s passed away on Sunday afternoon as a result of her injuries.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 1:30am and 2:15am on the 8th of April, who witnessed the collision, particularly any road users who may have dash cam footage or who can assist Gardaí to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059 - 9161122, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
