Five of West Ham's loan players were in action over the weekend with Conor Coventry and Mipo Odubeko making their debuts for their temporary clubs.
Coventry was allowed to leave on loan by David Moyes following the deadline day signing of Alex Kral and joined Championships outfit Peterborough United.
It was a step up for Coventry with his previous loan spell coming during the 2019/20 season in League One with Lincoln City.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 captain was thrown in from the start against newly relegated Sheffield United but was unable to prevent his side from going down to a heavy 6-2 defeat.
Striker Odubeko was also in Championship action making his senior league debut as a second-half substitute for Huddersfield Town.

Holland was a late substitute for Oxford but was unable to bring any life into his team's attack as they played out a goalless draw at home to Wycombe Wanderers.
Anang played all 90 minutes for Stevenage but was unable to add to his two clean sheets so far this season with Boro falling to a 2-1 away loss to Sutton United.
There was more positive news for another Hammers goalkeeper with Nathan Trott keeping his first clean sheet in French football at his fifth attempt.
The AS Nancy 'keeper was the pick of his team's players during the 0-0 draw away to Dunkerque. Trott made six saves to keep his team in the game and helped his side to only their second point of the Ligue 2 season.
