A local community has been hit by tragedy as a young woman has died while holidaying abroad.
The whole of Naas is in mourning after the sad news travelled back to Kildare that the healthcare professional in her early 20s had tragically died.
The young working professional, from the Johnstown area and a past pupil of Piper's Hill College, was in Germany at the time of her death.
It is understood that the Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
