A young thug dad was rushed to hospital after he was slashed "up to 20 times" during a horror stabbing attack at a home in Dublin.
The brazen broad daylight assault happened in the Croftwood area of Cherry Orchard in Ballyfermot just after 3pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A source told Dublin Live that the attack followed another alleged attack that took place last week as part of an ongoing feud in the area.
The victim, a man in his 20s who is known to Gardai, has previously served time in prison for offences including theft and criminal damage.
He was rushed to St James' Hospital after locals raised the alarm but injuries are understood to be not life-threatening.
A statement from Gardai read: "Gardai are investigating an incident of assault which occurred in the Cherry Orchard area this afternoon, Wednesday 19 th May 2021.
"A male in his 20s was taken to St James’ Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
