A young teen has been rushed to hospital following a horror crash in a Fife village.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene of the crash around 3.30pm yesterday.
A 14-year-old boy was walking on Main Street in Saline near Dunfermline when he was struck by a car.
He was rushed to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Police confirmed the driver of the car was uninjured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a crash involving a 14-year-old male pedestrian who was struck by a car on Main Street in Saline around 3.30pm on Friday,11 June.
"He was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured."
