Young Spartan fan makes us all proud at Detroit Tigers game

#SpartansWill give baseballs to little kids.

Let’s face it, if you’re a Detroit Tigers fan, there hasn’t been much to cheer about lately for your team. Enjoyable moments have been few and far between this season with the team being one of the worst in all of baseball.

However, there was a nice moment at Saturday’s game provided by a young Michigan State Spartan fan.

That’s just awesome. It makes me genuinely proud that he’s wearing an MSU basketball shirt. There are grown-ass adults who push little kids out of the way and make a fool of themselves just to catch a foul ball or one tossed into the stands from a player. Just look at this jerk from a Cubs game this week:

That crud happens all the time and for this kid, who looks to be in his very early teens, to be smart and caring enough to make an even younger kid’s day says a lot about him.

And just look at how happy that little kid is to get the ball. It made his day and he’ll remember that act of kindness forever. Even the adults in the area were impressed, giving out high-fives and handshakes. It was just a cool moment inspired by that you MSU fan’s kindness.

Salute to you, young Spartan. Thanks for setting a nice example how to treat your fellow human beings.
