Young Scots teen who vanished after night out with pals found safe and well by police

Police are appealing for help to find a 16-year-old girl who has failed to return from a night out with friends at the weekend.

Charlie MacCallum was last seen on Saturday, July 30, in the Bannockburn area and reported that she was going to meet up with her friends. After failing to make contact with concerned loved ones, the teenager was reported missing on Sunday.

Officers searching for Charlie have released a picture of the young girl and are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to get in touch.

A statement from Police Scotland said: “Police at Stirling are looking to trace Charlie MacCallum, aged 16, who has been reported missing.

“Charlie was last seen on Saturday night (30th) in the Bannockburn area and at that time she said she was going out to meet friends. When she did not return she was reported missing to police the following evening.

“If you have any information regarding her current whereabouts can you please contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting MPR6230260822.”
